I am looking for a committed video editor to help me tell compelling stories on YouTube. The gig will start with my next video about a famous electric guitar maker in Japan.   My channel focuses on the concept of Mastery, whether it’s a master blacksmith in Taiwan, a Michelin Star chef in Hong Kong, or Haenyeo Divers in Korea. I want to tell their stories. This individual (or team) will be able to work in a collaborative way, in order to tell the best stories possible. I'm not interested in dumping footage off and leaving it all to an editor. I believe teamwork makes the best content. What is really important to me is that my editor can give ideas as to how the videos can be the most engaging, while also keeping a sense of depth. In addition to YT, I have started a tiktok to cross-promote the content. My last video hit around 340k views in a couple days. I would love for this editor to be able to cut shorts as well. My current rate is 25-35/hr. Most projects fall between the 10-30 hour range.
