You’ll have the opportunity to work with the popular fitness channel with over 6,000,000 subscribers run by Jeremy Ethier. Jeremy is known for applying a scientific, research-backed approach to training and nutrition. He is one of the most credible fitness experts in the space, and we’re on the hunt for a passionate and creative Long Form YouTube video editor to join our team and take our content to the next level. This will initially be a per-project position, with the rate varying based on the length of the video/script. Successful performance in this role could potentially lead to a monthly contracted position, and even a full time position.

Job Responsibilities

Passion for storytelling; you excel at taking viewers through an emotional journey that they care about and will remember for the rest of the day
Familiarity with YouTube fitness content, specifically Jeremy Ethier’s channel, and understands the channel’s science-based style, tone, and audience expectations -
Strong understanding of YouTube retention; you know how to hook people into a video and keep them watching
Strong teamwork and communication; you’ll be working with Jeremy, scriptwriters, and a technical editor to handle animations/graphics
Creative and not afraid to make decisions on their own that enhance the viewing experience and retention Analytical and careful to balance storytelling with retention

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing your work
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and ideally After Effects as well
Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling. Bonus if into fitness/health
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
Ability to meet deadlines and turn around new edits quickly.
Must be fluent in English
Minimum years of experience in related fields: 3+ Years
