Job Description

This role extends beyond mere cutting and joining clips - it's about sculpting raw footage into compelling videos that attract and retain a viewers attention with the use of visual effects, animations, and storytelling. Collaborating closely with our vibrant team and diverse clientele, you're tasked with transforming rough ideas into polished, engaging videos that captivate viewers, drive high engagement, and retention rates. Responsibilities for this role include: -Receiving raw footage from a client and turning it into a fully-edited video -Editing for multiple creators/week -Color grading -Sound design -Finding and using appropriate music & audio effects -Finding and using appropriate b-roll when applicable -Incorporating the use of motion graphics and other video effects when appropriate -Attending team and client meetings to stay aligned with content direction -Work directly with creators and giving feedback when possible to improve production quality -Maintain vigilance against copyright infringement in video content

Features of an ideal candidate: -Has intrinsic love and passion for YouTube and making YouTube videos -Has a hunger to improve editing and storytelling skills -Ability to handle feedback and implement it -Punctual with good communication skills -Experience with Frame.io -Self-sufficient, good at solving your own problems -An entrepreneur with killer ambitions -Demonstrated ability to analyze YouTube analytics

Job Qualifications

• Fluent in English

• Have been editing YouTube Long-form videos for at least 1 year

• 1+ years of experience using G-Suite tools

• A track record of edited videos that have achieved significant views and engagement

• Minimum years of experience in related fields: 1+ Years
