Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and organised video editor who will be responsible for editing long-form video content for Lachlan and More Lachlan YouTube Channels. Your role will be essential in creating high quality visual experiences so it is crucial that you have a great eye for detail, passion for storytelling and a strong sense of good aesthetics to engage our community. Your role - Deliver video edits with a timely turnaround (generally, 2-3 days) - Video editing of approx. 2-3 videos per week - Ensure high-quality long-form edits and adherence to the guidelines (the quality of edits required may vary depending on the channel) - Ensure seamless post-production processes - Work closely with other editors and producers to ensure deliverables are timely and to the highest standards - Stay up-to-date with the latest YT trends

Job Responsibilities

• Must be extremely familiar with YouTube, TikTok and other social media platforms

• Must be familiar with the gaming space and multiple game titles, including Fortnite

• Able to convey the narrative in a way suitable for gaming audiences

• Sharp editing skills

• Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes

• Extremely organised, flexible and able to meet tight deadlines

Job Qualifications

• Min 3 years of proven experience with a strong portfolio of work in the gaming or entertainment industry

• Experienced with project management tools (Monday, Discord, Frame.io etc)

• Extensive experience in Adobe Suite, including Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop

• Able to work with revisions

• Strong awareness of content performance metrics that count and how to create content with them in mind

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

• Candidates must be fluent in English.
