Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Social Media Editor to handle all post-production for Michael Ligier's short-form (vertical) videos across Youtube, Instagram, and Tiktok Michael Ligier is one of the largest food and restaurant creators with 4.5 million followers across platforms. He's also a TasteHunter for the World's 50 Best Restaurants and has worked with most of the top restaurants around the world. His platforms can be found here:
This is a fully remote role with the opportunity for a hybrid role in San Francisco if applicable.

Job Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Editor to handle all post-production work needed on all of Michael Ligier's short-form media content (30-90 seconds). The goal is to create some of the most beautiful, awe-inspiring, and viral food videos on the internet so your primary reponsibility will be to create engaging videos from raw footage based on concepts, scripts, and brand guidelines.
The ideal person for this role is someone with a strong understanding of editing techniques and video production/post production. It's also someone who follows social media and pop culture trends and can translate their learnings into these videos. Bonus if you've already created food/restaurant videos before and/or have a passion for working in the food space!
Job Qualifications
Expertise with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop (and understands how to work with LOG footage when needed)
2+ years of experience in video editing for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or other relevant platforms)
Deep understanding of the mechanics behind viral short-form content (hooks, retention, storytelling, pacing etc)
Passion for pop culture and knowledge of the latest social media trends (particularly on vertical platforms)
Top-notch organizational skills and a strong ability to multitask
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring new creative ideas to the table
Bonus: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in fields related to film studies or video production
