Religion, politics, culture and science are subjects that deeply intrigue us, and we have a strong commitment to providing our audience with engaging and thoughtful content in these areas. Our videos are made in collaboration with scientists, authors & debaters who make presentations where they discuss pressing issues that they find relevant within our overarching channel theme. These presentations are then edited with stock footage, background music, sound effects & animation to make the viewer experience more compelling. We are looking for a video editor who can help out with exactly this!

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing, capable of finding suitable stock footage, background music, and sound effects, and dedicated to producing high-quality content at the same level (or preferably higher) than our current videos. You must therefore have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and video production techniques, and be able to listen to constructive criticism and continuously improve editing skills.

Job Qualification

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in editing style
Strong communication skills and willingness to accept feedback
Meet deadlines effectively
Candidates must be fluent in English
Minimum years of experience in related fields: 1+ Years
