They tell stories in a unique and non-corporate way, focusing on "people first, products second." They are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor to join their remote team.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms (YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok, Snapchat). You'll handle all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and creating short video content

• Perform all aspects of video editing (splicing, sound balancing, color correction, grading)

• Manage pre-production and post-production tasks

• Set up, operate, and maintain various production equipment (cameras, audio/video recorders, lighting)

• Manage all stages of video production (concept, filming, audio, editing, distribution, archiving)

• Calibrate and maintain video/audio equipment

• Adapt existing content for different social media platforms

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

• Work effectively under pressure

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software (strong Final Cut Pro skills a plus)

• Excellent knowledge of audio balancing, color grading, sequencing, motion graphics, and exporting formats

• Strong storytelling skills (a plus)

• Ability to visualize and shoot concepts effectively

• Familiarity with using the latest cameras and lenses

• Creative eye for compelling shots

• Great attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
